Maria returned with a victory. She won the 1st Round match at Brisbane International against Carline Garcia of France in straight sets: 6-3, 6-0 after one hour and 4 minutes.

Congratulations, Maria ! It`s great to see her back on court !

In 2nd Round, Maria will paly against Ashleigh Barty of Australia. This will be the first match between them.
