Maria won her 2nd Round match in Rome after only 54 minutes, against Ekaterina Makarova in two sets: 6-1, 6-1.
So, easy victory for Maria and that is good. She needs a lot of energy for the upcoming matches. And speaking of next matches, in 3rd Round, Maria will play either Shahar Peer or Alisa Kleybanova.
