Maria defeated Eugenie Bouchard of Canada in 2nd round at Sony Open Tennis, Miami in straight sets: 6-2, 6-0 after less than one hour: 57 minutes.
After this easy victory, Maria is in 3rd round where she will play against Elena Vesnina of Russia.
On head to head, the score between Maria and Vesnina is tied at 1. Their last match was in 2010 in second round at Beijing where Vesnina won in straight sets: 7-6, 6-2.
