Maria was eliminated in semifinals at Mutua Madrid Open by Svetlana Kuznetsova in straight sets: 2-6, 4-6 after one hour and 29 minutes of play.
In Maria`s schedule the next tournament is Internazionali BNL d`Italia which starts in May 11.
