Maria defeated Chanelle Schepeers in straight sets: 6-3, 6-1 at Open GDF Suez and it`s in quarterfinal.
In the first set at 1-1 were 4 breaks, 2 on each side and that`s because of the surface wich is very fast in Paris.. At 3-3, Maria made once again the break and after this break she conserved her service to make 5-3. Maria won the first set after 35 minutes, 6-3 with another break.
In the second set at 1-0, Maria made the break to lead 2-0. In the end she won the second set (6-1) and the match after 1 hour and 8 minutes.
In quarterfinal, Maria will play either Angelique Kerber of Germany or Monica Niculescu of Romania. The match is scheduled on Friday.
