Maria started slow the semifinal, she was leaded by 3 games to 1, but in the end he managed to win the first set, 6-4.
The second set was more easier than the first one (6-3), but Maria leaded 5-1 with two breaks ahead.
So, Maria did it again. She is once again in the Wimbledon final after a straight set victory against Sabine Lisicki: 6-4, 6-3 in one hour and 27 minutes. The last Grand Slam final was in 2008, when Maria won the Australian Open.
One more match and it will be a double at Wimbledon. In the final Maria will play against Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic. The overall score between Maria and Kvitova is 1-0 for Maria.
