After 2005 and 2006, Maria is once again in the final at Sony Ericsson Open in Miami after she won her match against Petkovic in semifinals.
Maria started slow and she lost the first set, 3-6. In this first set, Maria made a lot of unforced errors and double-faults but she had an amazing set 2 and 3, when she won 11 games in a row !
So, the final score was 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 and Maria is in the final, where she awaits her opponent between Victoria Azarenka of Belarus or Vera Zvonareva of Russia.
