Maria won her first match in Indian Wells where she defeated in 2nd Round Anabel Medina Garrigues from Spain in 3 sets: 7-5, 6-7, 6-1 after 3 hours.
So, it was not an easy match but the most important thing is that Maria won.
Maria is now in 3rd Round at BNP Paribas OPEN, where she will play against Aravane Rezai from France. The overall score between them is: 1-1.
