Maria in 4th Round

Maria had no problem against Mellory Burdette. She won her 3rd round match against the american player in straight sets: 6-1, 6-1 and she has dropped only 7 games in 3 matches !

The score says it all. It was a match at Maria`s discretion and she ended this 3rd round match in less than one hour (58 minutes).

Maria is in 4th round at US Open 2012, where she will play either Nadia Petrova of Russia or Lucie Safarova of Czech Republic.
