Maria will play in the final at W&S - Cincinnati after she won the seminfinal against Vera Zvonareva in 3 sets: 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 after 2 hours and 2 minutes !
So, it was a long and difficult match for Maria, but she managed to win even if she had a slowly start, when she lost the fist set.
But after that she became more agressive, managing to win break points with a little help from Zvonareva who made some double-faults in important moments of the game.
Maria is in the final at Cincinnati where she will play against Jelena Jankovic of Serbia. The overall score between Maria and Jankovic is 5-1 !
