Strong performance !

Maria won the match against Na Li of China in straight sets: 6-3, 6-0 after one hour and 8 minutes. Is the first victory of Maria over Li since 2009.

After this strong performance, Maria is in semifinals  at Sony Ericsson Open, Miami. In semifinals she will play either Serena Williams of U.S. or Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark.

Maria is leaded by Serena Williams on head to head (7-2), their last match was in 2011 in Stanford where Serena Williams won in straight sets: 6-1, 6-3. Maria leads Wozniacki (3-2), last match was also in 2011 in Rome semifinal when Maria won: 7-5, 6-3.
