Maria won her 1st Round match in New York at US Open against Maria Kirilenko in straight sets: 6-4, 6-0 after one hour and 29 minutes of play. Maria has now 17-0 record in night matches at Flushing Meadows.
In 2nd Round, Maria will play against Alexandra Dulgheru of Romania. On head to head, Maria leads Dulgheru: 2-0. Their last match was last year in Madrid 1st Round, where Maria won in straight sets: 7-5, 6-2.
