Another step forward for Maria at BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells after a tough match against Carla Suarez-Navarro. She defeated the spanish player in straight sets: 7-5, 6-3 after one hour and 40 minutes.
After this important victory, Maria is in last 16 where she will play either Roberta Vinci of Italy or Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino of Spain.
UPDATE: Indian Wells 4th round: Maria Sharapova vs Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino.
This will be the first match between them.
