Great performance for Maria after she defeated Jelena Jankovic of Serbia at Sony Open Tennis in Miami. She won the semifinal in straight sets: 6-2, 6-1 after one hour and 3 minutes.
This is the 3rd consecutive final for her at this tournament and this match is the 11th that she won in straight sets. Well done, Maria !
The semifinal was way easier for her than the quarter against Errani. After this strong evolution, Maria awaits her opponent.
In Sony Open Tennis final, Maria will play either Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland or Serena Williams of United States. The final is scheduled on Saturday.
